Fellaini & Nani, I see what Utd are doing. Trying to get the Jackson 5 back together, clever. #mufc

That rug really tied the room together.

How can clubs still be working on completing deals an hour after the deadline? Has Anichebe to West Brom being confirmed yet as the last thing they mentioned was that the paper work didn't go through on time but they might allow it anyway, do the premiership league just make stuff up as they go along?

EXCLUSIVE: United sign left-back Coentrao from Real Madrid on season-long loan

By DOMINIC KING and JOHN EDWARDS

                  PUBLISHED: 23:19, 2 September 2013 | UPDATED: 00:00, 3 September 2013

Fabio Coentrao has joined Manchester United from Real Madrid on a season-long loan.

The 25-year-old Portugal left-back has been frozen out of Real Madrid this season, failing to make a league appearance after losing his place in the side to Marcelo last term.

United went for Coentrao after failing to secure a deal for Everton's Leighton Baines.

Manager David Moyes secured the deal at the 11th hour after the transfer window shut on Monday night.

The move has been officially confirmed by La Liga officials.

As a further indication that everything was completed in time, Real have announced that they have signed Brazilian left-back Guilherme Siqueira on a season-long loan from Granada as replacement for Coentrao.

                  More to follow...

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

More yawn worthy stuff John Cross. The mighty pull of Arsenal and Wenger beats all it seems! Even gets a little dig in at Liverpool as well during the Ba bit.
