Meh, he'll do a job for the season and then hopefully we'll be in a position to upgrade.

Liverpool also secured Victor Moses on a season’s loan from Chelsea, although the London club blocked an attempt to insert an option to buy in the deal.
Should Moses excel, Liverpool are hopeful they will be in prime position to make the deal permanent if they so wish next summer, anyway.

I wasn't overly bothered about Moses when the deal was mooted however on reflection I have seen games in the past where Moses has terrified the opposition when he is running with the ball as he has good skills and pace to burn and will be an excellent outlet, his productivity could be a lot better for all the promise in his build up play but with more experience and regular game time that will come.
Could we see a front 3 of Moses, Sturridge and Suarez with Coutinho playing in the number 10 role which Brendan says is his preferred position? Hell of an exciting attack on paperKurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08

On loan he could be a great signing. We overplayed Sterling last season and this takes a bit of pressure off him as he develops but without blocking him longer term. For next season we'll have a better idea if Sterling can be a regular or if we need to sign someone else.Never knowingly optimistic

On the basis of what we saw this evening this could be inspired business, looks just the player we've been crying out for on the wingsOriginally posted by Chris View PostHe unsurprisingly looked completely exhausted after 60 but very good debut, a brilliant goal and that play to set up Sturridge was stunning.Kurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08
