    Ravanelli?

I think his hair colour gave it away (mind you scored a hat trick v us on his Boro debut IIRC).

No, Yakubu. I don't recall Ravanelli playing for Everton, or being fat.

Since when did hair colour dictate age?

baring some mad injury situation i cannot see moses getting another game for us.
he just hasnt looked arsed the last couple of times he has played

i hope we can send him back in january. we would be better playing alberto or ilori, at least they should be keen to put some effort in to stake a claim.

I really can't see many situations where there is a choice between Ilori and Moses. I can see the idea about Alberto but Moses still brings something that our other players don't - he's more powerful and direct. When he's been at his best for Wigan and Chelsea he offered something we need - a way to stretch defences and open up space.

I do agree though that now Sterling has pushed his claim to start he is unlikely to be a first choice starter.

i agree he has the capability and i have often posted favourable stuff about him, but he really seems to be unarsed. i would sooner have a player who wants to prove himself [providing he isnt a total donkey] and although ilori isnt a winger at least he should be wanting to show some worth.

                        rather than moses...

Genuinely shocked at how poor he's been. I thought this would have been a case of a peripheral player grabbing a first team opportunity elsewhere and making the most of it, like Sturridge and Lukaku - even Gareth Barry.

Its probably for the best that he goes. Is this a reflection on how LFC treat loaned players? Sahin was a bit of a disaster as well.

I'm never sure that you can judge a players mentality or desire from the outside. That said I have a different reading of the situation (which I accept is no more valid than yours given we have so little to go on) - I think Moses is a confidence player and for a variety of reasons (including where he has been played) he hasn't had the run he needs to get himself playing well.

I don't really think whether a player wants to prove himself should be the criteria it should be what they are doing and to a lesser degree what they could do on the pitch that matters. At the minute Moses is rightly behind Sterling on those criteria. I think it may change, especially if we change the shape of the midfield.

He looks a lot like he did for Chelsea last season to me.

I don't think he has been poor at all. Obviously some people see things differently. The only he's been average at best was the game at Hull. Then, most of the team that day played below their level.
