I'd play Ibe over him if he stays as he doesn't seem to have neither desire or spirit whatsoever as Aldo said.

Still remember him saying that he wants to score 20 goals for us this season....
Totally. The only good thing about all this is that we get to dump him straight back to Chelsea.

Lights blue touchpaper and casually moonwalks out of thread........

Rodgers could make Moses Liverpool deal permanent

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has hinted that he could pursue a permanent deal for Victor Moses if the winger continues to improve his performances in training.

The Chelsea loanee scored in the 2-0 FA Cup fourth round win over Bournemouth on Saturday as he featured for the first time since the third-round success against Oldham.

The 23-year-old has made 16 appearances this season, although many of those have come as a substitute as the former Wigan man has struggled to make a major impact at Anfield, sitting behind Raheem Sterling in the pecking order for a role on the flanks.

But Rodgers is now beginning to see an improvement in his summer signing and is hoping that the desire to star at the top level will inspire him to better things.

"For Victor it is very simple," Rodgers told various national newspapers.

"He wants to remain in a position that he will remain at a big club, whether it is Chelsea or Liverpool. There is no bigger motivation than that.

"In order to do that he needs to be performing day in day out in training.

"If he does really well for us there is a possibility we will want to have him permanently but ultimately it is Chelsea's decision because he is their player. And if he has done really well, then they will want to keep him.

"When you sample the life of the big institutions like Liverpool, then there's not many that want to leave.

"I have seen improvements in his training.

"If the top players are training nine or 10 out of 10 every day and you have players who are five or maybe six out of 10 every day, then they are not ready to train with them, never mind play games with them.

"So you have to get them up to the level."

For his own part, Moses is now hoping to use his first-half strike against the Cherries as a springboard to more goals for Rodgers' men.

"It was really important," he said.

"I know I haven't been myself for the past few weeks but I started and got a goal today.

"I just want to kick on from here and try to get a few more goals in the second half of the season. It's crucial for me and the club as well."

Mind games to get some use out of him before kicking him out. One thing Brendan is really good at.

yep, see if there is anything left to squeeze out of him before he is sent back to the plastics bench.

There's no way he'd make it in to their match day squad

Like others are saying it's probably to get more out of him in the time here.

It basically says that if he continues to improve his performances we might sign him. What it doesn't say is that if he doesn't improve there's no way in hell we'll sign him. It's a nothing story.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm going to stand up for him (a little bit ), and say he's not nearly as bad a player as some on here are making out. There's loads of talent there if he can apply himself properly.

He has goals in him too, something we lack outside of Suarez and Sturridge. He looks like if he played regularly he'd outscore the likes of Henderson, Allen and Coutinho and give Sterling a battle too. That would be important for us.

I think if he can really graft (sometimes he looks very half-hearted) from now until the end of the season he might be good enough for us to consider buying.
