Its not immediately clear from the PL website but I think only the FA Cup runners-up qualify. League Cup spot goes to league positions not runners-up

What a night that was. Haven't had so much fun watching other teams for a while. Hilarious. Losing over two legs to that shower of ****e is appalling ...but they bossed United over most of both games.

And agree with Chris - Mata has enough quality to have moments of brilliance and win a few games for them, but overall you just can't see Moyes getting the best out of him with his dinosaur approach.
