He's worth a position in the squad for next season, because we need to focus on strengthening other areas, we need both quality and numbers, id' prefer to spend money on a few quality players that will be involved regularly, and keep the likes of Borini, rather than buy more players of lower quality
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                What a tackle from Kompany.

Demichelis runs like he's in quicksand.

We're gonna need players for the early rounds of the cups next season, can't have the likes of Suarez, Sturridge and Gerrard playing in those games.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

City are just very 'samey' I really don't like the way they set up because if it doesn't work they have no plan b really. Yaya Toure is in one of his walking around moods and Fernandinho is more of an enabler than an actually player, looks good when Toure does his thing but not a great deal more than that.

Sunderland stay narrow when defending and City just aren't willing to even attempt to get round the outside of them with Silva and Nasri only wanting to operate in and around the 18 yard box but its just too congested.

Yeah I know what you mean. They're very 'robotic' in their approach but seem to be very clinical too. You don't seem them playing with much flair really. It's all about movement off the ball for them which comes from the fact that they have quite an intelligent bunch of footballers.

Man City pretty awful so far. Extra time certainly seems a fairly likely outcome as I'm not sure City have two goals in them this half.

Would be a shame in a way to see 6th place miss out on Europa League as a result of Sunderland winning. Be nice to guarantee two out of Everton/Spurs/Mancs getting Europa League football next season!

Great finish by Fabio to be fair.....with no time to think, which is always to his advantage given what we've seen during his time with us.

So, is Marcus Alonso any good? I honestly can't tell. I think I cannot separate my evaluation of him from my affection for Xabi.
