The Tunisians lodged a complaint with Fifa questioning whether Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting and Joël Matip had the right nationality requirements to play for Cameroon, according to the BBC.

Both are German-born. Choupo-Moting plays for Mainz as a striker while Matip is a centre-half with Schalke 04 and has a German mother and a Cameroonian father, Jean Matip, who also played for his country.

Tunisia's complaint comes despite both having played at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Cameroon's team manager Rigobert Song was asked to sign the formal complaint after Sunday's match as a witness. The win in Yaoundé followed a goalless first leg and ensured the Indomitable Lions qualified for the finals in Brazil.

Tunisia had made the play-offs when Fifa disqualified Cape Verde for fielding an ineligible player against them in their group game in September.

The governing body ruled that Fernando Verela should not have played in his side's 2-0 win as he had not completed a suspension.

I didn't know that Song is manager if Cameroon.

controversial and i could see why people would disagree but yup IMO you're right. His work rate going forward is insane, not a flat track bully either... big game player. His stats are just ridiculous.

It's very, very close though mate.

I can't stand the cunt (I don't think any of us can ) but Ronaldo's been the best player in the world in 2013. Aided by Messi's injuries but Ronaldo has been incredible.

Can't stand the cunt, yet it has nothing to do with his Manc past amazingly enough.

Bambi sends France to the World Cup....fair play to him.

If he doesn't win the Ballon d'or this year then he never will. Messi has been struggling for fitness since that injury pretty much crippled him towards the end of last season. Still bagged a ton of goals mind!

True enough, big thing about Messi & Ronaldo is that neither are ever injured much. Only recently Messi seems to be picking up injuries.

But yeh if Ronaldo doesn't win it this year.. he should probably give up and move to a remote island somewhere.. seducing older women.
