How much are refs actually on? About 30k?

The top tier of refs( 18 of them ) are on 70k a year, heard them discussing it on the radio this week.

Question is whether under the new rules that can be seen as an "act of violent conduct that occurs secondarily to a challenge for the ball" in an "off-the-ball incident where one or more match official did see the players coming together, but the match officials' view was such that none of them had the opportunity to make a decision on an act of misconduct that took place within that coming together".

I don't think it will, though it possibly should.
