Utter madness, let's put this into respective this is West Brom who lost their best player and didn't have a penny to sign any players in the summer

He's a great bridesmaid but not really bride quality.

Great shout for getting him back here if he (and Brendan) would welcome it.
        One tit for another.

Yes you're right, they bought that donkey Anichebe and that guy from Sunderland. Anichebe so **** I couldn't believe anyone would spend money on him

This seems crazy, who are they going to get that will do a better job? I really rate Steve Clarke, think he'll become a good manager for a top side in the future.

Rumoured to have upset Jeremy Peace by privately enquiring about the Everton job last summer.
                  Never knowingly optimistic

Fine line between success and failure. That or a £20m signing. If Everton don't replace Lukaku, they'd drop the same next summer.

Its a big problem when you have loan signings that you can't afford as the fulcrum of your team.

Well, he applied for it apparently. Pissed Peace off big time.

He also kicked off publicly about a lack of funds, he was then given them only to spunk six million pounds on Victor Anichebe
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Which in turn probably helped Everton get Lukaku, funny how things turn out!

The margins that people have to work within in the football world are ridiculous. I think in this case West Brom have made a big mistake in letting him go. He's one of the few managers around that really know how to prep a team according to the opposition. Good luck to him finding a new job quickly.
