There appears to be a worrying pattern emerging with our transfers of spending too much time negotiating a price with little movement rather than quickly establishing its a no go then moving onto another player.

Its not the losing out on Salah that bothers me but the time spent negotiating and putting all our eggs into one basket.

Sadly your point regarding the attractiveness of those cunts does seem to be real all too often.If I was any use as a player I wouldn't go near them,I'd rather play every week and still be getting a whopping wage elsewhere.

They still need a new striker, their best one is probably Ba and he can't get a game.

He won't probably strengthen their first 11. Keeps their strength in depth intact though. I mean, they haven't lost anything in selling Mata and are getting a promising and younger player in for him.

It was smart, like Nigey says it's not really strengthening but they've swapped one bench warmer for another and made £26M from it.
