Do English Fans Show Team Support on Their Vehicles ?

Was wondering in what ways do English fans support their teams? Specifically, are car decals/bumper stickers popular ? Are flags flown from car windows? These are all popular methods of showing team support for hockey, basketball, and "american" football teams here in the states. The reason I ask is that I live in east Texas, about an hour outside of Dallas. I was in a parking lot and saw a car with a window decal supporting Manu.
Caught me aback because, as you can imagine, interest in football is fairly limited in east Texas. Also had me wondering if it was my duty as an LFC supporter to smash the offending window Just kidding! So, are cars fair game for showing support ?

Whenever the world cup or euros are on (around the same time the tabloids are filled with fabricated stories of foreigners and immigrants being offended by the St George's cross and people banning it as a result) the English flag appears on **** loads of cars, especially cabs, down here in London.

As for clubs, I see the odd car with a window sticker on. On matchdays a lot of people close their door with the scarf stuck in it so it hangs out the side and billows in the wind.

There's a guy in Crosby with a (cartoon!) sticker of a guy in an Everton shirt pissing onto a Liverpool shirt in the back of his car. I want to smash the little ****ers car window in every time i see it

As a rule it's not terribly wise - unless you want your car scratched - that's from London.

They are obsessed I'm telling ya! They are more pre-occupied with hating us then they are with supporting their team

I have LFC stickers on my car. I've had several comments about it from guys. Some asking me wtf? And others asking me where I got them. And to explain, I live in Atlanta, Georgia. USA

I'd have been wary living in England of having a sticker on my car. Living now in Virginia I have no fears of somebody scratching my car (not that you could really tell with my car anyway) with my Liverpool mini-scarf in the window.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Hmm, I would have thought Atlanta to be a bit more knowledgable about football. In east Texas "there are only 2 sports. . . Fall football and Spring Football". (BTW, football in the preceding sentence referring to the American variety). There is very much a "rural America" feel here, but I work with people from all over the world, and most of us are fairly passionate football fans. But I would full well expect to get a WTF from the average east Texan viewing such a sticker.

Only a few will ask me who? what? Mostly when someone asks, they know who LFC is and ask if I got the decals here in the states. And of course I did not. Had them sent over to me.

I've got a mini lfc pennant hanging from the mirror and a mini scarf on the back window. If i was back in blighty me car will probably be smashed to bits, regardless of where i lived. Here in Montreal is very different, people of different European descendents & ethnic groups follow footy so they are interested in talking to you about your club, which is sound.

I have a mini kit in my cars rear passenger window. Obviously I take it down when I am in a hostile area.
