Today's Incident

After the deplorable incident at today's home game against Coalville Town, we can confirm that the player responsible has been released by the club.

We are a family club and incidents of this nature have no place in football and will not be tolerated at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds.

The club acted quickly and decisively and released the player with immediate effect and as such the player in question will never play for our football club again.

We apologise to each and every supporter at the game today and whilst as a club, we can't legislate for incidents of this nature, we will not tolerate them from anyone.

I think it should be as simple as no loans to teams in the same division. Makes sense to me.

Loans between Premiership clubs used to be banned didn't they, isn't it only about 5 or 6 years since they started to allow them?

Just heard about platini wanting france to play the qualifiers even though they are the hosts so have already qualified and the matches involving them wont be worth any points dangerous man that platini

I'd heard they were in the qualifiers and assumed that they'd have to play to get entry into the tournament; foolishly forgot who runs UEFA.

West Ham's net debt increases to £77m and owners David Sullivan and David Gold loan the club another £10.5m to try to secure their Premier League status.
