Funnyish, but sad to see. I went to Russia on holiday when I was a kid and went to see the Moscow state circus. They had ****ing ice skating polar bears.

Yeah, my sense of humour tends to respond to the ridiculous.

It is totally out of order and unbelievably cruel. How can they demean such a fantastic animal? Imagine the torture that bear has been through in order to be capable of behaving that way... barbaric... like something from a Roman Colosseum.

There were rumours from the team involved that this was going to be part of the opening ceremony at the World Cup..! Can you imagine.

Russian attitudes are about 50 years behind the rest of Europe.
