Yep, although he'd actually got a track record of managerial success, old as it was. Stevie doesn't have that yet. If he still doesn't have something at least showing he might be able to do that, then exceptional circumstances will be required. One would hope we're not going to plumb the depths of near financial collapse and Bodge any time soon!

Another win for Newcastle. Good time for them to find some form, they have some important games coming up to see the year out including West Ham, Huddersfield, and Burnley. Do well in those three especially and they can push away.
