Game stopped now as the pitch is covered in rain water. Mad it was even started tbh.

Most of the players have gone back to the dressing rooms.

Crazy amount of water being swept off of the pitch.

Happened in a NZ game the other day as well and the kiwis didn’t come out for the second half. They were playing Qatar. Good to see teams take action. Also saw someone joke FIFA will now punish the kiwis rather than do anything real to stop this from happening.

            They are flying.

Didn't watch the game bit saw McTominays goal. Good finish with his left foot. When he first came through at united I thought he was really really good. Would never happen but i actually think he would be a good player under Jurgen. High energy and has probably suffered with ****e teammates next to him and crap management too

McTominay is such a different player for Scotland. Really tidy in possession, occassionallly marauding and times his runs for goals incredibly well. I think he is top scorer now for the entire qualifiers (all countries). I hope he moves away from Utd.

It was soo ****ing wet. We were absolutely drenched, massive queues to get in as people couldn’t get there tickets to work, paper or mobile as they were drenched. I’d got printed back up (soggy) but my hands were so wet my phone wouldn’t work.

                  Can only imagine.

It ended up being gripping viewing for me on tv as I did not want to turn it off without knowing the outcome.

Not sure I have ever seen so much water on the pitch for a high level professional in the modern eras.

Sure there were games in the 1980s like that and I have seen LOI games like that, but not one with players at this level of the game.

Do think the game being halted after the first goal helped Scotland as it prevented Georgia from hitting back fast after going behind so that when they game resumed it took any heat out of Georgia and allowed Scotland to basically restart as if it were a new game.

Thought Scotland played well throughout though with our own Scot being really good. Proper captain's performance it looked from him.

Scotland are in a great position now to go on to qualify. Couple tough aways games left but the wins against Spain and Norway are great as they force Norway and Spain to have to try to beat the other along with them having to beat anyone else that might be able to sneak in.

Watching Scotland is like watching Ireland under Jack Charlton or Mick McCarthy and as such I find them great to watch. Not so much in playing style but there is a similar level of fight and raw determination on show in almost every game not to mention having a support that is at least as loud as the Irish support home or away.

It was amazing how much water they removed

The Georgians trying desperately to get the game called off definitely affected them we looked much stronger once the game kicked off again. They are a decent team also and had only lost 1 in the previous 14.

Robbo has been in amazing form, MOTM on Sat and not far off last night. We have solid performers and strength across all areas now… except one. CF. Give us Haaland and we’d be a threat (though Dykes works harder!).

It is very much in our hands now. We need only a max of 4 points from 4 games.I’m not ruling us ****ing it up out, but this team is different. We keep possession really well. We have guys like Robbo, Tiernay, McGinn, McTominay, Gilmour, Patterson, Hendry have top level experience and are not phased by the occasion.

It’s a great time to be a supporter.

And. The support. The tartan army are immense, but last night was a real test with the delays. At times the atmosphere was a bit surreal as the clock rocked past 11, but we did our best. The pen miss at the end was glorious.

We were so late back, I had my sons mate with us and my phone ran dead by 11:30 so I couldn’t update his Dad. As we got to theirs at 1:30 I did mention to him, I’ll bet you the first time you imagined Callum rolling in at 1:30 am after a night out you didn’t imagine I’d be the one responsible

My son looked absolutely shattered as he left for school this am.

It's strange how Scotland and Spain just cannot develop a top class striker.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
