That was a shocker right there. It's almost as if she forgot she could kick it outside the box!
I couldn't stop laughing. It was like a FIFA glitch
The thing I've noticed the most is the gap in quality between the really good players and the bad ones is absolutely massive. A couple of those English girls were running rings around everyone.

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey
Genuine career ender that. Not even a tackle just slid in and gave Marcelo nowhere to land.

Big time and even within the same team you can spot it. You look at the Irish team and Kate McCabe (Arsenal) is that bit smoother and quicker on the ball and with things like spotting runs/making runs than some of her teammates that play for lesser teams at domestic level.
Think as the years go by the standard of the less good players will improve though.
Started going to some of the games in the Women's league here in Ireland and find it to be a better watch sometimes than the men's games on tv as there is far less play acting, faking injuries, time wasting and so on.
It might not be up there with the men's leagues in terms of technique at times, but then again the men's game has had decades and decades of a head start on that front so fully expect the women's game to continue to close that gap bit by bit as the years go by.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
