    Walcott

    What a surprise.

    The FA are a disgrace.

Theo Walcott: FA to take no further action over gesture

The Football Association will take no further action against Arsenal's Theo Walcott over his gesture to Tottenham fans in Sunday's FA Cup tie.
Walcott signalled the Gunners' 2-0 scoreline to Spurs' supporters as he was being taken off on a stretcher after suffering a knee injury.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said Walcott, 24, was reacting to having coins thrown at him.
The FA said the player had been "reminded of his responsibilities".
Both clubs have also been contacted by the FA regarding objects thrown onto the pitch from both a home and away section at Emirates Stadium at different times during the game.
"The FA condemns any such acts and will liaise with both clubs and the Metropolitan Police to identify those responsible and support the strongest sanctions available, including life bans," said the governing body in a statement.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

    Meh.

Whilst the FA are a useless, inconsistent bunch of old farts on this occasion they've got it right, not taking any further action is the correct decision imo

Taken on it's own merit, they are just right, it was f*ck all. How it compares to others cases, I’m guessing not very consistent.

Seeing as he's injured anyway, I'm surprised they didn't just ban him anyway.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

if he was injured i thought they were obliged to lie down on the stretcher. sitting up like that is just making the whole thing unstable, he deserves to fall off.
remember the fella who fell off the stretcher, priceless

Would have been a joke if they did him for that.

Bale did it either last season or the season before and got away with it.

He did **** all. Would've been furious if one of ours had done it and been charged.

Some fans are a joke - stand there screaming pretty vile abuse for 90 minutes (those Spurs cunts used to chant that racist **** about Adebayor "his Dad washes elephants and his Mum is a whore" ) - and start ****ing crying when a player gives them a little bit back. And all he did was remind them it was 2-0. Pathetic really.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

All he did was a bit of banter. FA were right in this case.
                Are we winning?

I thought it was quite funny actually.

It must be a right ****ing doss working at the FA having to 'investigate' incidents like this!

What Walcott did was great. Stuff like that is what makes me love football. Bit of needle, nothing malicious.

Football is getting really boring, and to charge him for something like this would have been beyond stupid. There are far far bigger things worry about in the game.
