Did you see Barry in 2010? Way too slow back then for top level football and not good enough on the ball to make up for it. He's been good for Everton this season but no need to make the same mistake again. I think he's still trying to catch Ozil.....

I think too outright say hes got no chance of making the WC is harsh, especially with Carrick, Lampard etc shoe ins

I actually thought it was a nothing incident but we'd have definitely have been bummed by the FA had it been a Liverpool player and all of you guys know it.
        Haha, what a lame backpedal.

Its in no way harsh on Barry, just an old average player, Carrick and Lampard are in no way shoe ins, 1 of them definately wont go, probably Lampard.

Henderson, Barkley and Wilshere should all be going along with Gerrard, Lallana should really go to.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I agree he is under rated. Although I can see why people would call him a Hodgson player.

He is technically sound and can play in a lot of positions but he lacks the creativity to be a really top player. He is a big asset for City as he can balance out their numerous creative but slightly light weight midfielders. For England he's not really the answer to how to unlock international defences with a team including Cleverley.
