    Thomas Hitzlsperger: Former Aston Villa player reveals he is gay

    Former Aston Villa, West Ham and Everton midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger has announced he is gay.
    The 31-year-old, who won 52 caps for Germany, made the announcement in a magazine.

                        Great that he came out.. fair play to him. Was decent player that didn't really reach his potential.. some left foot though.

                        Surprised he had that many caps alright, seems to have got most of them during the latter end of his Villa career & his time at Stuttgart in which he was impressive.
