There's already too much stuff for the ref and lino's to be looking out for. They should be trying to make the rule less complicated not add more bloody nuances to it.

The whole 'is he off/was he level' thing on its own is hard enough to get right without all the other ****. I mean how can anybody be looking across the line while at the same time looking at a player in a different area of the pitch to see when he plays the ball!

The offside rule is just a change in interpretation and it is what most people thought it should have been anyway.

Some of those other things won't be enforced:

If two or more players approach the referee in a confrontational manner the club will be charged if the incident is reported by the match officials (Previously the guideline was 3 or more players) - it all come down to whether the referee includes it in his report which they won't - how often is anyone charged under the current guidelines

The feigning injury I don't see how this can be enforced consistently how can you determine whether someone is injured or not - even if there is no contact from a challenge a player could injure themselves avoiding a challenge.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
