            As is that line.

Does everyone post a source for every single transfer. Bizarre you were on it within seconds.

It is being suggested in Italy that former Chelsea marksman Didier Drogba is being considered by Juventus and Roma.

At the age of 36, Didier Drogba could make his first foray into Serie A as Juventus and Roma are said to be weighing up making offers.

The Ivorian has been offered a new one-year deal by Turkish side Galatasaray in an attempt to prevent him becoming a free agent, but Drogba appears to be ready to move on.

The ex-Chelsea striker gave an emotional address to fans after Galatasaray's last game of the season and the signs are that he is searching for one last adventure as a player.

It has been suggested that Chelsea could offer Drogba a return but other clubs have also been linked with him such as Liverpool and various Major League Soccer sides.

But in Italy it is being reported that Juventus and Roma could pounce if the clubs' sporting directors decide it would be a sensible choice.

Juventus have tracked Drogba in the past and whether or not the Old Lady make an approach will be decided by Antonio Conte's opinion of him.

Having committed to the club for another year, Conte is expected to try and assemble a squad capable of winning the Champions League.

While the Bianconeri boss seems keen to sign younger players, which is a potential stumbling block to Patrice Evra's move, he could be tempted to use Drogba sparingly and as an extra asset in Europe.

Drogba demonstrated to Juventus how dangerous he can be when he set up the goal by Wesley Sneijder as Galatasaray eliminated the Turin outfit from the Champions League this season and the continued form of Andrea Pirlo is an example of how valuable a player can be in his mid-30s.

It has also been suggested that Drogba's international teammate Gervinho is determined to bring him to Roma.

The Giallorossi's main priority this summer is to find a proven goal scorer and they may not have the budget to compete for in-demand players such as alleged target Jackson Martinez.

However, Drogba's wage bill could be a problem with Roma having a policy on salaries that is stricter than most other Serie A sides.

If there is already a thread on your topic, post the development of the story in that thread, rather than starting a new one. Links of the more random variety should be posted in the "general transfer speculation" sticky.

If possible, provide a link to the website you've seen this rumour on, or name the source if it's a radio or TV station, newspaper, friend of a friend's mother who works as the tea-lady at Melwood etc.

Rumours without a named source will be deleted.

It says if possible. Assuming that relates to the whole forum not just this thread

So like I asked, is there a source for every transfer related post? There isnt. No one posts in line with what you've posted casemore

But its fine. Like you said, its tedious

If you think we're picking on you on this one Sarb then just ask Bender. We literally spent five years trying to get him to post bloody links

Any twitter gossip should stay in the twitter thread. This thread should be for reliable stuff from the papers (if that's not a contradiction....) and other articles.

Nah, that's something an 8 year old would say. Not my style

This place is just quite cliquey.

Read the post by casemore. It says where possible put the source. It wasnt possible so I didnt put it. He was on it straight away. Luck of the draw....maybe

Sarb, we have to try and enforce the source rule where possible. Particularly at this time of year, as what is posted in the coming weeks will set the tone for the rest of the summer. Its just good practice to add a source.

You are also not reading the final line. Its something MrM and Paul both ask the mods to enforce.

No source, means we will always pull someone up. I think its fair, as Reece says. Ask Bender.

                                Posting this:

Means you have to have gotten it somewhere. So just post a link, or at least a name for it. Unless you made it up, it will be possible wont it?

Im not saying you made this up BTW, just using the example.
