Or throw a wobbly in the Summer and look for a move elsewhere. I cannot see him wanting to stay around with no CL, playing Ale house football.

Especially as I can see at least one of RVP or Rooney leaving in the summer.

No way Mata is going in the summer, next January at the earliest.

RVP has looked like he wanted out from the day Moyes arrived IMO, he's gone in the summer and will Rooney want to play in the Europa league ? I could see both going in the summer along with Hernandez, Vidic, Ferdinand and a few others. They're ****ed with or without Moyes.

Sadly yes even without CL football they're bringing in a ****load of money through sponsorships/advertising and matchday revenue although the latter may change if they continue to freefall.

They're ****ed with or without Moyes.

And I think the club know this - Moyes will be given time to build a solid, if unspectacular team that will flatter to deceive. I would also imagine he will be tasked with lowering the wage bill and clearing out the chaff - just in time for their next manager to come in and start to rebuild.

At times I feel sorry for Davey - he was chosen as the successor to Ferguson to do the dirty jobs, and once he has done this will be replaced with a better manager who will get to benefit from his hard work, and who will not have to immediately live up-to to Ferguson's legacy, as this will have been muted but Moyes mediocrity.

But then I remember what a tosser he is and start laughing.
