    sounds **** for club football

European Qualifiers, fans will see national team matches take place over six days from Thursday to Tuesday.

Each day of the Week of Football will provide eight to ten matches as opposed to 20 to 30," he added. "Kick-off times will be largely set at 18.00CET and 20.45CET on Saturdays and Sundays and 20.45CET for Thursdays, Fridays, Mondays and Tuesdays. On double-header matchweeks, teams will play on Thursday and Sunday or Friday and Monday or Saturday and Tuesday."

Its stupid. 350 or so matches to narrow 54 to 24. Don't know about anyone else but I find the CL knockouts boring as **** with game spread so widely. Shiuld be a **** load of action going on alk the time. Thus will be a nightmare for scheduling keague games

Nowhere near enough good teams to justify 24 teams for the Euros. Look at England's draw and that tells you that the teams are far too diluted. Euros at 16 teams was a great tournament as there were hardly any really **** teams who made it. Now we'll definitely get some god awful fixtures.

For ****s sake, that's bull**** spreading the games out over basically a week is going to **** up club football, imagine the difference in the amount of rest between your players playing on the Thursday or the following Tuesday
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's not just the English players though, imagine Suarez or someone travelling half way around the world after having a couple of days less rest.
