In fact, Barca consulted the LFC group / engineers on how best to do it.

Ours was about 18 months for the main build. Started in late winter and finished in September the following year. Two summers. One and a half seasons.

They are looking at 4 years, and an entire stadium.

ARE would be another 18 months or so.

That's like three years if they were done consecutively for half a stadium.

Yeah, but there is a three year gap with the main stand and the ARE, not one consecutive 4 year build the logistics of managing it will be greater. The Barca build is 4 ‘sides’ consecutively, we didn’t need to worry about three sides of the stadium during the build.

Also, Barca structure and stadium is far bigger and the structure is in fairly poor condition meaning there will be more unknowns as the revamp plays out.

Is different. Same principal different challenges.
