Fans from Lancaster City fought players & management from Ramsbottom United at a match v Radcliffe Borough.

          Sunday, March 23rd, 2014

Ramsbottom United Football Club you are a disgrace to non-league football. Never before have I seen players and coaches attack fans… 1/2

          — Jonny Crossley (@Jonny_Crossley) March 22, 2014

2/2 at a game where their team isn't even involved. Those who turned up in RUFC gear to fight should be banned completely from the league.

A team turning up at a neutral game and attacking another teams' fans. Coaches and players all throwing punches. Never seen anything like it

Deplorable scenes were recorded on Saturday in the non-league in England as a punch up spilled out of the sidelines.

Radcliffe Borough hosted Lancaster City in the Northern Premier League Division One North, the 8th tier of English football, when supporters, players and management from rivals Ramsbottom United turned up at the match.

Ramsbottom United’s crew arrived at the game after their match against Farsley was postponed, and after the group got inside Radcliffe Borough’s Stainton Park Stadium it all kicked off.

The match was brought to a halt as the Ramsbottom crew got into a fight with the Lancaster City fans.

During the recording of the fight, a man with a thick Mancunian accent got onto the loudspeaker to decry the appalling scenes of violence which were unfolding in front of a local family audience.

For the record, after the trouble died down Lancaster City beat Radcliffe Borough 4-1.

                            Tottenham v Southampton:

Spurs XI: Lloris; Naughton, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose; Lennon, Bentaleb, Chadli, Dembele, Eriksen; Soldado

Saints XI: Boruc, Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw, Cork, Ward-Prowse, S. Davis, Lallana, Rodriguez, Lambert.
............ Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood: "We're happy to have the boys fit. Younes [Kaboul] is back and Michael [Dawson] has managed to get on the bench. We're pleased with the team we can select.

Sherwood on where he'll be watching the game: "I'm going to go up top [directors' box] and have a look from there, to get a better view. You can't see the game properly from down there [in the dugout] and I'm getting involved in every little decision, which is possibly wrong."
