I always worry with him in charge, thankfully he never seems to get our games against the big teams.

He's abysmal, worse than Webb.Webb doesn't give the big decisions, this lad hardly gives us anything at all in every game he ref's.

Utter dross once more. Common sense would have told him turn around and look at the big screen but of course he didn't and wouldn't.

Even if we go and beat these ****ers I've no confidence that another mistake won't happen again against us before the end of the season.

In fairness to the ref he can't turn around and look at the screen. He'd probably be in more **** if he did that.

What would be interesting to know is why he overruled his linesman. Linesman had his flag up immediately to signify a foul had taken place.

I know but that is where common sense in football needs to be brought it, ****ing madness.

He was dreadful today and I feel sorry for their keeper as that was no way a pen either.

All in all I think the level of the officials in the PL is piss poor and that's being kind to them

Pen for me. Grabbing a player like that anywhere else on the pitch would be a FK.

Good interview by Allardyce. Pretty much summed it up. Refs deciding the outcomes of games every week.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I was all for goal line technology and I said at the time it should only be the start.Continually proved right on that.We need rugby style video refs and we need them quick.

Goal line tech is fine as it a binary decision.

Offsides are all over the place and the margin for error between the ball being kicked and the position furthest forward is too great... and you notice they only focus on the attacker so you rarely see when the ball was played too.

I would seriously question how accuarate 2 cameras synched like that can be over a second and how many frames, when they call these over an armpit hair
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I believe the system was improved last season to include a 500Hz sensor in the ball - the cameras run at 50Hz iirc, so they can tell to the nearest frame when the ball was kicked.

I don't think syncing an isolated network to within 0.002 secs should be that much of a challenge. Maybe the more IT savvy members can comment on that?
We are here for a good time not a long time....

                              Nobody mentioned Coote yet then?

Can't see how he can remain a ref after this
