I do feel sorry for him. He's entitled to think klopp is a cunt, from his perspective it's pretty understandable. Refs probably think the same about many people they come across.
He looks uncomfortable in the video, he's clearly out of it, and looks like a bullied kid and he's been targeted by the releasing of it now. I also don't agree with that idea that he can't ref in the PL again because he doesn't deserve that level of punishment. Is his role as an independent arbiter untenable? Of our games in the near term, yes, I guess it is, but I don't see why he shouldn't ref other games after a bit of a suspension, and back to full time next year. I suspect he's shot though.

Staggering reports suggest that PGMOL was made aware of a video circulating of David Coote shortly after it was recorded. Coote was allegedly removed from officiating Liverpool matches in the Premier League but later resumed duties in a lesser capacity as a video assistant and fourth official. He was eventually reinstated as a referee for Liverpool in the Premier League, having not officiated a Liverpool match in the league for about four years until he took charge of a game against Brighton at Anfield in March of this year.

hmmm, if that's true, I wonder if the club were informed at the time?
He seems to have been removed from our games 4 weeks after the shocking performance in the Merseyside derby; where VVD was injured and we had the winner chalked off in suspicious circumstances. Did the video surface to them in that window?

This guy isn’t real, it’s just spoof and better to ignore
Ok poor wording on my part, What I was meaning is he IMO wasn't the worst manager in terms of behaviour towards officials, obviously the managers whose sides are either battling for trophies or to avoid relegation are probably the worst to deal with as decisions have more impact. Klopp was vocal in his criticism of officials in press conferences. I don't think he got into any more altercations with officials during the game or after the game than other managers. His record of bookings and touchline bans would surely be an indicator of this which IIRC did not seem much worse than any other manager in the PL at the same time.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
