Shaw's a decent player but think the praise he gets is a bit OTT imo.

Doubt that. He doesnt start every game, and that comes into peoples thinking I think.

Id say there is more of a chance of Barkley or Januzaj

Sterling has unquestionably outperformed Januzaj and Barkley in my view. Unquestionably.

Hazard and Sturridge are both eligible, which is an absolute shambles, but I'd be surprised if many voted for either.

Young player should be under 21. Under 24 makes no sense at all.

I think 23 and under, as well as not playing for than 10 games in the previous season so no established players, a newcomers award.

Has Marshall been that good? Haven't really seen him play.

It's between De Gea and Marshall for me. Obviously Marshall is a busy boy playing in goal for Cardiff - mind you so is De Gea at Utd - but every time I've seen him he's made a string of brilliant saves.
