This is what I hear from people knowing him. He gets a hard time in the press on occasions, mainly due to his friendship with Solskjær and all the deals they have made. But he does seem to get good deals for his players, and gives them the right advises for their careers.

Actually the first time I met him was a street party and I was nicely oiled. When he said that he was an football agent I started to giving a hard time about being a parasite etc... However, he weathered the storm and we chatted at length about things. He agreed with my generalisation about the agents in England, Spain, Germany etc... But what he explained about his role was much different. As you know there isnt too much money in Norwegian football and he doesnt make a lot out of "internal" deals. He said he obviously made more money on international deals. However, the biggest winner of international deals were the clubs. They get the much needed money to enable them to exist, as sponorship etc...is really poor over here.

To back up what you have said about giving players and Solskjær advice on what is best for them is true as we have discussed this as well.

I read quotes from Odegaard dismissing Barca recently, saying he doesn't want to leave and is happy where he is.
