Absolutely correct mate. It's not over yet and the history of the game is littered with improbable outcomes and mad results. Sure it looks unlikely but **** it you never know. Win on Monday is all we can do. For all their billion+ spent City look nowhere near unbeatable.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

Yep, it was pathetic and the passing around on the halfway line with 1 minute left summed it all up. Gutting but thats the way the fixtures fell unfortunately. At least it was easy to hammer the bookies and fellow users on betfair.Originally posted by marcus50bucks View PostWhats funny is Sarb was getting proper stick when he questionned whether Everton would roll over. Anyone who really thinks Everton put in a proper shift need to go back and watch again. Even when it went to 3-2 there was no urgency, just them pissing about with the ball. They blatantly didn't want the equaliser. It really was embarrassing.

When they were 1-0 up, 1-1 they never moved from passing it around with no purpose. Its ****ing pathetic. Yeah it was 3-2 so they gave it a go. They could have taken a nervous City. Camped in their box for last 15. Everton wouldnt even attempt a speculative shot
Like I said earlier they did enough so that they wouldn't lose heavily but were never interested in winning or drawing. Honestly, it was so blatant. My bro's a blue and he was absolutely livid at the way Everton were playing and the ****e atmosphere.

I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Everton walk off at half-time 2-1 down to Manchester City and the Everton PA plays an Oasis song. An Oasis b-side. Called 'The Masterplan'. Not saying it was a big conspiracy and that was obviously designed to boil our piss, but the dead atmosphere obviously contributed to Everton's no-show. Goodison is usually a bear pit for the big games. I had softened towards Everton recently but they can **** right off. Small time ****houses. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
