2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014 make this his 4th World Cup, and he was around 22/23 years old when he started playing for Germany (35 y/o now)

Can't look past Germany for this group, and likely followed by Portugal - if Ronaldo is ready. But it's two decent teams in Ghana and USA, so it will be close.

Very tough group but ZE Germans are just too good for the rest.

Ghana is the best African nation in this WC imo. They have Ayew & Gyan up front and these two can cause problems. I think they will pip Portugal for 2nd.

Portugal rely too much on Ronaldo and if he isn't 100% they struggle. Having watched most of their WC qualifiers and both playoff matches vs Sweden it was evident their weak link is at the back with keeper Rui Patricio who prone to mistakes.

USA are decent and it will be interesting to see how Klinsmann sets up his team vs the 3 solid opponents they got. Will he be happy to play for draws against Germany & Portugal or will he go for it. I think the former will happen.

For Portugal all depends on Ronaldo who has had injury problems.. without him they are pretty ****. Germany should win this group and either Ghana or Portugal for second spot. USA are very athletic and will be awkward to beat.

Germany to win it. Portugal are normally crap in qualifying and then get out the groups before bottling it. Can't see USA having enough to take advantage of Portugal even if they are missing Ronaldo.
