Aren't people overrating Uruguay a bit? Scraped through the qualifiers and an absolutely ****e defence. I'd love Suarez to absolutely tear up the WC but I think he'll struggle with a poor-ish Uruguay side.

Germany - I think their squad has been building for this WC for quite a while. Lack of strikers might be an issue, but their power and ability on the ball should see them do it. Only thing that might go against them is weather conditions.

Brazil, think they're pretty average but just dont see them ****ing up big games in the Maracana. If it was elsewhere I'd fancy them to go out early.

Argentina just for the firepower. Colombia as a dark horse to go really far. So many attacking options even without a fit Falcao.

Spain as the only European team who can do damage for me. Germany just don't have the strikers, France are relying on an out of form Ribery and the enigmatic Benzema, Netherlands look too weak defensively, England have an idiot in charge and Belgium too inexperienced in big tournaments for me.

I'm conciously overrating them a)because I want them to do well and b) they are normally a good tournament team (last WC, Copa America champions) C) It won't be a European team winning in SA, so effectively little competition

That's my reasoning too.

Plus every World Cup has a previously-unknown-hero; knowing Urugauy it will be some aboslute mentalist defender who ****s clean sheets. He will be to Uruguay 2014 what Trifon Ivanov was to Bulgaria 1994.
