could you imaging how good the stats would be for lallana or coutinho playing in the middle for barcalona. the quality of the players around you would almost certainly mean they would make the most of whatever passes you were giving them.

cesc may be good, but i wonder why everyone seems to be shying away...

If they got rid of Mata why would they go for Fabregas? He doesn't suit them. Their attacking players are all rapid counter attacking specialists. I'm not sure he fits the bill for what Mourinho would be looking for.

Would be a massive sign of intent, and definitely an immediate first teamer for a long time, but I just don't see it.

If (a big if!) it was a straight up fight between us and Chelsea I'd genuinely fancy him to pick us. Surely he'd be conflicted playing for another big London club? Plus all the Barca players detest Mourinho. Our style of play would appeal to him much more than theirs.

Of course they could blow us out of the water on wages, if that's what he's interested in. Otherwise I'd say we'd be his best option.

The wages would be the issues, he's surely on £120k+ more likely £150k a week. That's a huge outlay for us especially as we've got to keep one eye on FFP
