I'll do a jig if Blatter is convicted, guy is a ****ing cretin that has seemed untouchable. Everyone knows he's guilty but he acts like he couldn't care less, chap is so brazen.. he has a neck like a jockeys bollox.

FWIW I dont necessarily think that Blatter is directly guilty. He seems clever enough to keep himself at arms length from things. He knows where the bodies are buried though.

The trouble with FIFA is that they only have to satisfy themselves and their sponsors. Its not like UEFA, where the clubs can get involved with their financial clout. So unless countries start pulling out and forming a new organisation I dont think anything will happen. If they did it would look a lot like they were pulling out for financial gain only, as the smaller nations seem to back Blatter.
      *Except Michael, who died.

Didn't think of it like that

Blatter is the man without emails, laptop or mobile phone nor does he ever go to Countries where America has influence - now we know why

Those that killed her, were following the law.

But isn't Ali one of Sepps cronies anyways?

Better to let this **** play out and get someone like Garcia to step back up to the plate.

Fifa corruption inquiry: Sepp Blatter holds emergency talks

Fifa president Sepp Blatter has chaired an emergency meeting, as the football world governing body is mired in crisis over a growing corruption scandal.
Mr Blatter is under pressure to step down and delay a vote due on Friday for the next Fifa president following the arrests of seven top Fifa officials.
Many of its key sponsors have expressed concern, with UK PM David Cameron backing calls for Mr Blatter to resign.
The meeting is Mr Blatter's first since the crisis began on Wednesday.

Really dont think its anything to do with this

Its more to do with FIFA officials being able to do whatever they want

Some of the things that FIFA and its officials can do go above and beyond what governmental officials can

Things like their income at World Cups being untaxable, them being allowed to take huge amounts of cash across borders without restriction

Thats got right up the Americans noses and rightly so

I am made up they have gone for them and I hope this is the beginning of the end of Blatter and maybe even the organisation

Remember the Russians 'losing' their emails from the time that the Garcia report was being put together?

why the USA though - does it not seem strange?

Why not UEFA, the EU, UN, Interpol etc etc

Seems very strange everybody is happy for the USA to be the worlds police

Just glad someone has in this case- and I think the US are too far out of the circle to be bribed etc.

In general I detest Team America World Police though.
                              3rd place. Worst champions ever.
