There is a second round of votes, which is unexpected in a two horse race, Blatter clearly did not get the two thirds of the vote required. A straight run off in the second ballot.

        133-73 in favour of Blatter.

A second round of votes needed

Be interesting to see if many delegates see this as the chance to sink Blatter and the second round turns out to be pretty close.

Tough to say isn't it now down to a straight fight of who's got the most votes ? Can't see many UEFA defecting to Ali but then you'd assume not many others will jump ship to him either no doubt too much to lose if Blatter goes.

Hopefully see a full on FEDs raid at the end and Blatter being carted off

Won't be remotely close based on that round

                Absolutely disgraceful.
                3rd place. Worst champions ever.

                  Its all over

                  England to resign from FIFA

                  UEFA to follow?

I doubt it. However in two months there will be a vote of no confidence and then a smaller amount of votes are required
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

                    What a farce.

I wonder how many of them would be exposed under a change of regime? At least 133?

Biggest bunch of crooks out there you wonder what's been promised or needs to disappear for some of these guys to stick with this.

Surely they can't honestly expect the US to just disappear and give up on the investigation

                        Mental. Fifth term.

Sepp Blatter has been re-elected president of Fifa, football's world governing body, in a vote overshadowed by arrests and corruption allegations.

Mr Blatter's rival, Prince Ali bin al-Hussein of Jordan, withdrew after the first round of voting.

Mr Blatter fell seven short of the two-thirds needed, but Prince Ali opted not to contest further.
