Thanjk you.

Capello has the highest win percentage of any England manager, ever.
I'm not going to defend Roy's tactics, but when a player walks off as the worst attacking player on the pitch then it's not the system that makes him ****, it's the player.
Capello won **** all and we were terrible. 2010 was awful, absolutely ****ing awful. Am I living in an alternative dimension when they were the golden years? You criticise Rooney but Capello's stats make him alright? In that case Rooney's states shows that he is an England great. How does that even work?
I don't think you are defending Roy's tactics, not in the slightest. I just think Rooney gets two on him in pretty much every game, gets played out of position because he's talented enough to carry it off and has an off game now and again. What I would say is that he's the best of our strikers because he has proper world class talent. We don't have anyone near him with the style we play.
Rooney looked up and saw Sturridge coming in and put it right there. It was deliberate, not a shot of hope.
I know I'm coming across as a Rooney apologist but I genuinely think he's the best talent we have and I've seen us **** all over our talented players with our **** style of play for 30 years and it ****s me off big time.
I honestly don't think I've ever heard anyone, Man United fans or otherwise, say Wayne Rooney is our most talented player
He's obviously not as crap as is made out on this LIVERPOOL forum, but still. He is massively overrated and on current form, shouldn't be ahead of either Sturridge or Sterling, who play in the only positions he could realistically expect to play in
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Can't see them playing anywhere near the same role Rooney has. And if they'd scored as many goals as he has for England and got cunted in the same way I'd be embarrassed for us.
The fans are mostly pretty positive, even after the loss I feel. They see we have a talented young squad who are technically gifted and they see a lazy has been Wayne Rooney stinking the place out and blocking someone with talent and desire who's form makes them more worthy of a place.

I rate Rooney, I don't think he's terrible by any stretch. If he can't be arsed he can be close to useless though. It's like Ballotelli.
If we're gonna get anything out of him we need to play him in the middle. I don't think he's Englands best forward either. Thats currently Mr Sturridge.

Role as in position? That's a weird thing to say if so. Striker or behind the striker? Based on this season, which should go a long way to determining who starts, you think Rooney is a better option that either of them?

I can understand that. I feel Italy were pretty poor and we were tactically inept. I just can't see who we'd have slotted in to improve us today. Hopefully we'll find someone.
Didn't you get the Liverpool Supporters Handbook? We're not allowed to support England, silly

He generally gets the pig's ear in each match, the manager hoping he'll pull something out to suit the structure. Sturridge is a great striker but can disappear when he's not doing what he does best, which he is very good at.
I do think he's our best talent and has been for years. I'm not having the whole him being **** thing. That does say a lot about the rest of our team.
I just don't agree with that theory. In the euros he couldn't control the ball, it bounced off him pretty much every time he touched it, he was dismal. In 2010 he was also very poor. Even when played out of position you'd expect the most talented player for a generation to at least get the basics right. You have to go back the best part of decade to find a game where he was the best player in the side, never mind on the pitch. There is just no relevant evidence that says he is a world talent being hampered by structure/position. He is a classic case of unfulfilled potential and a classic case of England selecting a team based on reputation rather than form. That is what had held England back the most over the years.
