        briefly caught him doing an interview with gabby logan last night - what i saw he pretty much blames Daniel Sturridge for england going out - says he missed chances to win games and he needs to be better

          The service to him was dire but so was his finishing when it mattered. He didn't have a good tournament.

                  Only saw the highlights of the Costa Rica game, but to be fair, it looked like Daniel should have put away at least a hat-trick.

                      Reminds me of Owen- stating the obvious in monotone. Trying to be measured & sincere but just dull as ****. Tries to vary his tone by talking faster & more insistently but just comes across like a woodpecker.

                                Rooney had some clear cut chances that he wasted, he was worse than Sturridge.

                                But the defence also have to take a lot of the blame the defending at times was dire.
                                The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
