If Algeria and France meet in the next round, it will be very interesting, seeing the history between the two nations. They had lots of good players as well (of Algerian ancestry - Nasri, Zidane, Rabah Madjer, Benzema etc...)

Just came in to post something similar Nigey. Hope they get through obviously since I'm an adopted Algerian right now but that game could be very tasty indeed.

Can someone explain why it seems sensible to play two centrebacks with the turning circle of tankers in the fullback positions when you have Lahm and to a lesser extent Boateng in the team?

Also I want a sweeper keeper with great distribution again. Neuer

I've been thinking about this for some time, I really don't understand it. Bizarre tactics. Mustafi's injury has improved there play, I don't really rate him in any position, but clearly playing him at fullback doesn't help his cause.

Algeria have made them poor tbf. Or at least less good than usual. They have played a big part of the match, and it's a very enjoyable 0-0 game.

Germany have had plenty of chances, and Müller have been expensive today. On the same not, Neuer have been an awesome sweeper keeper today!
