I know Madrid have all the glamour boys etc but their work rate is incredible. It's the reason why they can play with no DM... everyone works the bollox off & they dominating the midfield.

I'd never really got it with Kroos. I mean I thought he was decent, but nothing extra special. He was a rolls Royce today. Made it look effortless - he and Modric dominated.

I think that it though he cruises around (no pun intended), nothing spectacular at first glance but he dominates possession & is a cog in the middle of the pitch dictating play. Fabulous player IMO.

I also think Barca have an 'issue' in how Suarez, Neymar and Messi fit together. Luis will be way more effective if they play him through the middle... It will be interesting to see how they look to accommodate the three of them without losing any key attributes from any of their games.

very curious to see how these 3 big personalities get on together. On paper it looks amazing, in practice remains to be seen.

Well, Real have managed to integrate a few of these megastars successfully.

Having those 3 play together up top won't be an issue for them. But Iniesta maybe doesn't have the legs to play midfield anymore and Xavi defo does not in a game like the classico. Xavi is fine when Barca are at home and don't give the ball away but away from home in a high tempo game like today he is no use. Busquets is very hit and miss these days too. They lost the midfield battle big time today

Kroos "only" had a 93% pass completion against us. The 100% stat was only for the first half.
