Yes really, but I've followed them since I was about 15 when I swapped my Ocean Colour Scene fisherman's hat with my mate for his giant Barcelona flag. I think I got the best deal there

    Oh, and because Suarez

Dani Alves: Barcelona defender signs new contract

Barcelona's Dani Alves has signed a new two-year deal to remain at the club.
The 32-year-old Brazil right-back, who was set to be out of contract this month, had been linked with moves to Liverpool and Manchester United.
Alves has spent seven years at Barca, and on Saturday claimed his third Champions League title with the club, featuring in the 3-1 win over Juventus.
Barcelona, under a transfer embargo, would have been unable to replace him until January.
On Monday, they signed Sevilla's Aleix Vidal - who can play at right-back - for an initial fee of £13m, rising to £16m. However he will not be able to play until halfway through the season.
Alves has also collected five La Liga titles and three Spanish Cups with the Catalans, including one of each in this year's treble.
Barcelona retain the option to extend the deal by a third year into 2018.

Not as good as our reliant robin we're late but not sweaty one.

Bale wasn't in it for starters!

                Atlético's €125 million ceiling
                ALBERTO R. BARBERO 06/13/2015

Atlético have reached an agreement with the Spanish Professional Football League (LFP) for the club's first-team spending limits for next season.
Negotiations between the two parties have intensified recently and this week they came to a compromise in the region of €125 million, in line with the financial control mechanism that the league has imposed on the clubs for several seasons now.
Atlético are working to build their new squad in full knowledge of their limits, more specifically the maximum sum that they can spend on salaries, transfer amortisation, and player image rights.
In this total of €125 million, amounts also need to be earmarked for coaching and backroom staff (around €15 million), youth players and player bonuses.
It should be pointed out that the price of a transfer is not as simple as it seems when it comes to the accountant's books: if Luciano Vietto signs from Villarreal for five seasons and Atlético amortise the €20m fee, for example, the deal would represent just €4m out of the budget at the Calderón for each of those years.
In any case, the situation isn't that the 'Rojiblancos' have €125m to sign reinforcements, but that is the maximum quantity that they can use for their first-team squad to comply with current regulations.

I suppose its all about the viewing figures, El Classico apart I presume the viewing figures are not that high. Is a subscriber really going to stop their sky sub because they've stopped showing Spanish football?

If they lose more EPL packages to BT that may have happened, so yes eggs in one basket and ****ter deal for customers.
