Silly decision, he looks ridiculously good defensively and contributed a few bits going forward! Pointless going for these young players if we bin them off if they are less than perfect after 1 season of non regular games. The terms of this loan were not really public knowledge, lots of maybes.
I wonder if we took him as a stop gap and then decided to back out. No idea what the final price would have been if we had decided to keep him for another year, would that have meant we were then committed.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
