How is either of those a given?

Letter from Sky this morning advising that as of June my Sky subscription will be increasing by £4 per month.

        Time to cancel.

Binning Sky as well after the letter regarding the £4 increase. It's becoming too much for something I hardly use. I'm on the computer and only use it because the picture quality is better.

A lot of people I know are getting rid too.

I was with Sky (no contract) and last year I signed up for a 10% reduction offer if I signed up to a 12 month contract. I'm still in that 12 month spell and I'm damnwell hoping they can't increase my monthly fee.

I pay 15 Euros a game (Bundesliga) and 3.50 Euros for a large beer. Buses and trams are free for 3 hours before and after each game so people don't use cars.

                      Other games, online for free.

Got my letter from Sky advising that I was due a £4 increase, so cancelled £40 worth of my package! I bet loads and loads of people are doing the same.

Have done the same. Was on one of those half price offers from Krade at £48ish a month for sports movies etc but that ended and sky were looking £110 a month... No chance paying that. Never worth it at that sort of monthly fee.

Thinking about binning the TV completely and going for one of the card sharing boxes which are widely advertised these days
