Was it someone on here that reckons Pardew won't be sacked because Mike Ashley bailed him out over a hefty gambling debt and why he got a 7 year deal?

The problem with this rumour is that there is no concrete argument as to what Ashley gets out of this. Pardew bailed out of his debt and Pardew gets a position he can't be sacked from for 8 years?

It wasn't that Ashley can't sack Pardew it was that the 7 or 8 year contract effectively wouldn't need to be paid out as Pardew owed Ashley so much money.

He's probably working for much less also if it is the case so Ashley is saving £££ on his wages.
