      They're haggling over the fee.

Barca have offered €10m. We said we'll take €6m if they'll take Enrique too.
That rug really tied the room together.

Yep, he'll be gone next year. To be fair to him, he'll thrive at Barca in the Iniesta role.

No he won't, nowhere near consistent enough. He has a **** load of work to finish here first anyhow.

You understand that he'll be working with world class players at Barca right? His play will benefit from that.

Of course it will benefit but I think he still needs a consistent big season for us to get Barca really interested anyway. Sometimes he struggles with the most basic passes so still work to do IMO

I know what you mean but I think a change might benefit him. He clearly was in his element with the movement available in front of him two years ago. Now he's trying to do a bit more to try and score himself without much help from his team mates. Our system doesn't allow him to thrive IMO.

He should grow a pair and take more games by the scruff of the neck. Easier to almost hide behind better players. I disagree about system, it totally allows him to thrive but he is simply too inconsistent

Good players make the system fit around them. Much like Messi, Neymar and Suarez at Barca. All 3 brilliant players, now playing in a side that suits them.

If Coutinho was good enough the team would revolve around him. He isnt at the moment, and while he isnt Barca wont look at him. They have bigger fish to fry.
                        *Except Michael, who died.

Based on the last few weeks, I would be happy to see him go there**

**Disclaimer......watch him play a few worldies now

He's not doing well because of the team around him is not doing well. We've scored only 22 goals in 20 games and haven't created much either. If the movement is not there I'm afraid it will make him look poor.

His shooting is making him look poorer his shots/shots on target ratio is circa 10%. That in itself is nothing short of abysmal

Yeah Same applied to Gerrard on many occasions, but he still did the business...Inconsistent Phil is unable to do absolutely nothing,in a poor team yes but lets see what he's made of show us your a special player even if the rest of your team is piss poor at least you step up to the plate.
