Lets get the debate going, best and worst pundits for you? As well as any other worthy mentions

Favourite pundit: Souness - cuts through the bull**** and says things how they are which is refreshing, doesn't go on about crap like "low centre of gravity" and keeps things simple.

Worst pundit: Ruud Gullit - he looks like someone has brought their brother in to fill an empty seat. His insight is clueless and has me screaming at the tele every time, "sexy football" ffs.

Got to say as well that Niall Quinn is abysmal.

The following have no idea what words are about to tumble out of their mouths. Just pure unadulterated waffle and cliches:

Gary Neville is clearly the best, Carra is excelling now too. Souness isn't bad, but he is painfully old school, with that old-fashioned macho bravado, where it's seen as manly to not use your brain and think about things.

I don't mind Zinedine Kilbane - he's surprisingly decent when he's allowed to talk. Whoever he's with tends to talk over him.

Henry is going to be great, I really liked him during the world cup. I don't get the BBC's recruitment policy of average (at best) ex players - Robbie Earle, Savage, Mark Bright - none of them offer anything. I know he isn't punditing, but Clarke Carlisle is horrendous. He thinks he's something, he really does.

Danny Mills is a disturbing individual. He really believes he's something special.

Ever since Villas Boas was sacked by Tottenham, and there were wet boxers for Glenn Hoddle to take over, he seems to overstate things, and tries to be complicated, almost as if he's hoping to get the job one day. You didn't after Sherwood, and you won't after Pochettino. Give it up Glenn.

Danny Murphy is another cretin as well. Clarke Carlisle and Mark Bright deserve to be stuck in a zoo with two horny rhinos.

Neville, Carragher, Souness, Roy Keane are good. Scholes is alright on BT, but horrendous on ITV.

I know he isn't punditing, but Clarke Carlisle is horrendous. He thinks he's something, he really does.

I have to mute the tele if he is commentating. He thinks because he was on Countdown and it more intelligent than your typical footballer then his opinion is worth more than most. The suarez/evra saga was the best thing to ever happen to his career.

I think Lee Dixon is okay for some reason, and I love Souness's honesty.

Think Henry will do well at it, just a bit arrogant int he.

Besides that the rest of them are pretty much wank

I find most pundits absolutely dreadul and insultingly thick. Clarke Carlisle, the convicted drink driver who likes to lecture people on how to behave and that rat Sam Matterface has to be the worst commentary team ever assembled in any country, in any sport. I still remember at the world cup Clarke Carlisle saying Ecuador needed to bring Jackson Martinez off the bench to get them a goal. That will be slightly difficult, Clarke!

Savage is a prick.
Owen/Shearer/Hargreaves some of the dullest personalities you will ever come across. Offer nothing because there is nothing in their brains to offer. They are zombies, not people.
Murphy thinks he's intelligent but he's a Hodgson protege dinosaur.
Crooks is in the Shearer mould.
Redknapp is harmless but he's got a job because of his looks, anyone can be on there and say "Yeah he crossed it in and thats a great finish as you can see, a really good team goal".
Kevin Phillips, get the feeling he's another who loathes us. Another dinosaur type.
Phil Neville is a bitter, **** cunt.
Gary is good, overrated though.
Carra is good.
Souey is alright but he's very simplistic sometimes.
Scholes at least is willing to say stuff that will likely piss people off, including Utd fans. Thought he was shy and didnt like the public eye though? This cunt is EVERYWHERE!!! Blog, tv, radio, you name it he's ****ing there!!
Townsend - Needs to **** off with this "Go on!!" "YESS" "GET IN!!" "We need a goal here". Shut up and commentate, you didnt play for us, Arsenal, City, Utd, you dont need to roar us on, just commentate on the game.

The best is the European football show on BT. James Richardson presenting. Jules, the long haired fella and Honigstein. They boss the **** out of it!!! And they are just journo's not former players.

Not a pundit as such but if I could avoid prison doing it I'd happily do bad bad things to Adrian Chile's face.
