I still have no idea how Man City can have a turn over of €414.4m?

They are a new global club, but they are now the second biggest in money terms in the UK. I wouldn't have thought that in the 5 or so years they have been on the world stage, its grown that much.

Doubt it. They never make it further than 1/4 finals. If that.

Just seems like they are a much smaller club globally and domestically. How many City shirts do you see? Hardly any down near me. Its all Liverpool/Utd/Arsenal/Chelsea

They don't need to sell shirts while their owners pump money in via bent sponsorship deals, and fifa take their cut via debates about 'punishments'.

Having FIFA and Fair Play in the same sentence is farcical!

I guess lots is from these massive deals they make with the Middle Eastern companies. Feels like we are lagging behind in that respect. Surely we can go to sponsors and use Man City as an example of the market rates now?

I totally believe that what many of the 'sponsors' put into Citeh to help them 'balance the books', they get back via the owner somehow.

We just are not in the same position as them, we can't go to the usa tourist information and tell them to pay us 100% over the asking price for sponsorship, and then get them to back date it!"

They aren't market rates though, they're inflated rates as both club and sponsor are owned by the same people. Corrupt as.

Not bad for us considering we weren't in Europe, and our stadium is small.
                    Oh I don't know.

I don't think it is a conversion rate. I imagine it to be the previous years figure.
