Not so long back everyone said we should've sacked Rodgers and got in Klopp. Difference I'm seeing is that Rodgers managed to turn around a sinking ship, whilst Klopp has no other ideas. Sometimes you're lucky as a manager and create a perfect storm, arguments which were levelled against Rodgers thanks to Suarez's heroics.

Maybe Klopp is one who after a while just wears thin as players lose motivation due to not being able to compete for top domestic honours. Hard to keep going when your best players go the rivals.
    Forwards.......

        In the German league

wow! Its a goal happy league. That's a mad stat for a side that lost the CL final so recently.

My local side Paderborn also lost last night to Hamburg, now it will be a struggle to stay up.

The ultimate nightmare here is Paderborn/Dortmund relegation as most of Paderborn support Dortmund too.

Not everybody said Rodgers should be sacked, correct me if i'm wrong but I hardly remember anybody on here calling for him to be sacked but at one point it looked like Rodgers could be sacked if the results kept going the way they had been. I personally felt he deserved and earned the right for time to turn it around. Some people just felt Klopp would be the next best available manager if that did happen. If FSG inexplicably decided they wanted Rodgers out I would still want Klopp to be our next manager. He has proven he is a class act, don't think this season proves otherwise.

I wanted him sacked- couldn't see him coming back from how **** we were.

I'll hold my hands up and say I was wrong, and we were right to stick by him. He is a very good manager, and tactically is brilliant- just takes a while to get the tactics embedded into a team where half the players are new and haven't played in the system before.

His biggest mistakes were persisting with playing **** players. Sakho and Lucas coming back into the team is 50% of the reason we are looking so much better.

There was a time when many fans didn't want Lucas near the team, how fickle we are sometimes.

To be fair after his injury he was wank for a time. Glad he's recovered now.

Numbers suggest a few wanted him sacked:
