Barcelona forward Luis Suarez says he had no option but to nutmeg Paris St-Germain defender David Luiz twice as he scored two brilliant goals in Paris.
Suarez easily cut inside former Chelsea defender Luiz on his way to putting Barca 2-0 up before repeating the trick to embarrass him en route to scoring a stunning third.

The former Liverpool striker said: "A striker is always looking for goals and the two moves came off for me.

"I had to nutmeg Luiz twice because there was nothing else I could do."
Suarez scored 31 goals in 33 Premier League appearances for Liverpool last season before completing his £75m move to Spain.

And he took his tally to 17 goals for Barca this season - including 11 in his last 11 - with his double in Paris to put Barca on the brink of the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Further madness knowing he was doing one for a year & being left scrabbling around for Balo****ingtelli on deadline day.
        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Yup. Hindsight is wonderful but would rather have Suarez here even if he gets banned for 15 games per season. I would have Suarez lead our line for 20 games than watch Balotelli, Borini plod around for the entire season.

              I love Suarez, he's brilliant.

But at the end of the day he wanted to leave, we ****ed up on replacing him but I think that him leaving was unavoidable. And him not going Arsenal was definately a success.

Aye, a player like him is never more trouble than he's worth. Why could he not give us just one more season to crack that nut then he could head off on a high.

At least Luiz's mother still loves him.

Reacting to the wave of criticism, David Luiz’s mother, Regina Célia, used her Instagram account to issue a public show of support, telling followers: “I have a son and I always will! His head held high, with a ball at his feet. God knows everything! Jesus is fighting for us until this day and yet we still have people who judge! Who are we to judge you! I will always love you after the good games, and even more after those that don’t go well!”

Apart from the fact that he had a release clause in his contract which Barcelona had met, it was indeed madness on the club's behalf.

Bite or no bite, media storm or no media storm, title or no title.....Luis Suarez would have pushed for this move last summer. It was the one place he has always dreamt of playing, we were always going to lose him to Barca.

Except when he dreamt of playing for Arsenal and Real Madrid.

This is some forward line though has there been a better forward line before?

                              Neymar - Suarez - Messi

Ridiculous. A Brazilian, Uruguayan and an Argentinian, each their respective countries icons.

Amazing. Whilst Real have a far better team and squad, that forward line just pips it.
