Real shame but we wont be catching them at all. 3 games left, they'd have to screw up 2 and go on a 5 match losing streak, and we'd have to win our 3 games which include chelsea, and we all know that wont be happening.

The quote about having the 5th largest wage bill and being 5th I think at least holds some weight although after last season its hard to take too seriously.
I hope Rodgers or whoever is in charge approaches this summer with clarity, that is what we need, clear thinking, a plan and a direction.
Sterling has proven he's talented but its been unfair to ask a player who should be a rising star to be the key man. If he leaves this summer and we bring Depay in I think it removes the needless speculation we've suffered, probably adds some money to the budget and if we're brutally honest adds a finishing touch. We have Lallana, Coutinho and Ibe to create, putting the ball in the net is our problem.Vive la FranceComment
