I'm not sure it is all that high a fee given others around the division and the fact he is a goalscorer (Fletcher to Sunderland was more IIRC and that was before the latest TV deal).

Juan Iturbe: Bournemouth sign Roma forward on loan until May
Bournemouth have signed forward Juan Iturbe on loan from Roma for the rest of the season.
The Cherries will have the option to sign the 22-year-old Argentinean on a permanent deal in the summer.
The winger trained with Bournemouth on Friday but will not be available for Saturday's game against Leicester as he is awaiting a European work permit.
Iturbe joined Roma on a five-year contract from Italian rivals Verona in July 2014 for £17.4m.

Is he a goal scorer though? He seems to go through patches were he gets a few but doesn't seem that consistent.Originally posted by dww View PostI'm not sure it is all that high a fee given others around the division and the fact he is a goalscorer (Fletcher to Sunderland was more IIRC and that was before the latest TV deal).
He may well prove a decent signing, but £9m still seems like a crazy price (although compared to some of ours, it's probably bargain of the century.
)
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Demarai Gray: Leicester agree deal for Birmingham winger
Leicester have agreed a deal with Birmingham for winger Demarai Gray after the Premier League club activated a £3.7m release clause.
BBC Radio Leicester reports the 19-year-old had a medical on Saturday.
Gray was left out of the Blues' Championship win over Brentford, and boss Gary Rowett confirmed the player was in talks with a top-flight side.
Leicester reportedly had a bid turned down for Gray in August and he went on to sign a new deal at St Andrew's.
Bournemouth were also said to be interested in the teenager.
BBC Radio 5 live's Ian Dennis reported after Leicester's 0-0 draw with the Cherries on Saturday that it is understood Gray could be loaned back to Birmingham until the end of the season if he completes his move to the King Power Stadium.
Gray came through the Blues' youth system and has made 78 senior appearances, scoring eight goals.

He's going from one average premier league team to another average premier league team. We are an average premier league team too so he'd probably fit right in! But that's the problem, He's average and we have enough if them. Not a player with the ability to get us up with the best teams and those are the only ones we should be interested in. If he was those teams would be after him.
